My client decided to partner with another business owner in her industry. She wanted to be able to respond to messages from his clients in order to sell her goods, but he wanted to protect his clients’ identity. Because client contacts are like gold in their industry, the partner did not want to reveal the name and email address of his contacts to anyone else. My solution was to build a private email client to pull emails from his Gmail inbox without revealing the email address of the sender.

With this email application, my client can read and respond to messages from her partner’s clients, without ever knowing the email address of the recipient. The email client also blocks her from adding her own name and contact information to the emails before they are sent. All of these terms were agreed on by both parties before I started the project. Not only can the user read and write emails, she can also delete emails, search emails, and check the SPAM folder.
